The award was granted following a selection process where Chemours chose four of its more than 10,000 suppliers at the global level. Long-term partnership and sustainability performance improvement were the key elements guiding the selection.
“We would like to thank you for the long-term partnership and congratulate you for having demonstrated a significant sustainability improvement as evidenced by your EcoVadis ratings improving by more than 12% since 2018 and being awarded 2021 Gold rating”, Chief Procurement Officer Michelle Moore said.
She continued: “Chemours needs partners who are committed to improving their corporate sustainability performance. For this reason, we wanted to award companies that share these aims and values with Chemours and who have become valued partners beyond the supply of goods and services. Thank you for joining us in creating a more sustainable future”.
