Odfjell Honors Outstanding Seafarers at Crew and Family Well-Fair 2024 Manila

On July 6, 2024, we celebrated the exemplary dedication and hard work of our seafarers at the Crew and Family Well-Fair 2024 Manila. This event was not only a testament to our commitment to our crew but also an opportunity to honor those who have shown exceptional service over the years.

"We are incredibly proud to honor these outstanding seafarers who have shown unparalleled dedication and excellence in their service. Their hard work and commitment are the foundation of our success at sea, and we are grateful for their contributions to the Odfjell family," said President and Manager of Odfjell Philippines Agnes Enesio, who presented the awardees to the audience. 

Fitter Analito Aban first embarked on his journey with us aboard Bow Heron as an Engine Cadet on February 12, 1991. He has also served on vessels like Bow Princess, Bow Lady, and Bow Favour. Analito is known for his extensive experience, cooperation, and reliability as a crew member.

Motor Man Leo Alcomendras began his career with Odfjell as a Wiper on Bow Cedar on October 1, 1997. He has previously served on Bow Faith, Bow Sailor, and Bow Favour. Leo is renowned for his consistently positive attitude and outstanding performance aboard our vessels. 

Able Seaman Huberto Alsol has been with Odfjell since October 1, 1997, starting as an Ordinary Seaman on NCC Madinah. He has also served on Bow Hunter, Bow Lady, and Bow Eagle. Huberto is highly dependable and maintains a positive attitude towards his tasks. 

Mess Man Gerardo Budiao boarded his first vessel, Bow Leopard, as an Ordinary Seaman on March 18, 1996. He has also served on Bow Fertility, Bow Pride, and Bow Leopard. Known for his professionalism, Gerardo consistently demonstrates dedication and commitment to his tasks. 

Able Seaman Albert Calumba started as an Ordinary Seaman on Bow Viking Old on November 12, 1996. He has served on vessels like NCC Riyad, Bow Lion, and Bow Flora. Albert's cooperation and responsibility make him a consistently recommended crew member for rehire. 

Chief Officer Marlon Capellan first boarded Bow Princess as an Able Seaman on May 16, 1998. He has served on Bow Lion, Bow Lancer, and Bow Petros. Promoted to Chief Officer in 2016, Marlon continues to perform at the highest level of his abilities, showcasing his experience and cooperation.

Captain Gary Carace joined Odfjell as a Deck Cadet on Bow Princess on May 16, 1998. He has served on Bow Lancer, Bow Power, and Bow Master. Promoted to Chief Officer in 2015 and Captain in 2022, Gary exemplifies dedication, cooperation, and excellence in his leadership role. 

Second Engineer Henry Daguro joined as a Fourth Engineer on March 25, 1998. He has served on Bow Hunter, Bow Sea Old, and Bow Century. Promoted to Second Engineer in September 2005, Henry is a cooperative, responsible, and experienced engineer who has consistently performed excellently.

Electrician Gerardo Edades first boarded Mare Queen on April 26, 1996. He has served on Bow Petros, Bow Panther, and Bow Fighter. Known for his hard work and confident approach to tasks, Gerardo is a valued crew member. 

Chief Cook Renato Lacandazo has been with Odfjell since January 15, 1997, starting as a Messman on Mare Queen. He has served on Bow Panther, Bow Transporter, and Bow Heron. Renato is a hardworking crew member who consistently performs well on board. 

Third Officer Rahnni Llona joined Odfjell as a Deck Cadet on August 22, 1998. He has served on Bow Cedar, Bow Favour, and Bow Firda Old. Known for his dedication and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision, Rahnni brings extensive experience and cooperation to his role as an officer.

Chief Cook Glen Napilot embarked as a Messman on Bow Clipper, his first Odfjell vessel, on February 10, 1997. He has also served on Bow Cedar, Bow Queen, and Bow Sea Old. Glen is a dedicated crew member, skilled at cooking, and consistently performs his job effectively.

Second Engineer Angelo Pimentel joined his first Odfjell vessel, BNCC Jouf, as an Engine Cadet on May 25, 1998. He has served on Bow Fortune, Bow Master, and Bow Firda Old. Promoted to Second Engineer in 2022, Angelo is known for his hardworking nature and remarkable commitment to his job. 

Mess Man Michael Quejada has been with Odfjell since December 19, 1998, starting as a Messman on Mare Queen. He has also served on Bow Mariner, Bow Fighter, and Bow Heron. Michael is knowledgeable in his duties, reliable, and a great team player. 

Third Officer Aaron Tria joined Odfjell on May 31, 1997, as a Deck Cadet on NCC Baha. He has served on NCC Arar, Bow Century, and Bow Fighter. Aaron is a hardworking and dedicated crew member, respected by fellow crewmembers for his extensive experience and dedication.
