Four long-time seafarers awarded

Four Filipino seafarers were honored for more than 25 years of service to the company during the Crew and Allottees Conference in Cebu City, Philippines.

Odfjell Philippines, Inc. General Manager Captain Remigio Zamora and VP – Head of Crewing Agnes Enesio presented the plaque and gold watch to the following awardees:

Bosun Roy Clemente joined Odfjell as an Ordinary Seaman on board Bow Fighter in November 1996. He also served on board NCC Mekka, Bow Princess and Bow Hunter, where he displayed reliability and impressive hard work. Bow Optima and Bow Sirius were the last two vessels he boarded before retiring from his profession.

Chief Engineer Roy Laraya started his Odfjell career as a Fourth Engineer on board Bow Explorer, the first of January 1996. He also boarded Bow Transporter, Bow Mariner and Bow Petros, where he demonstrated commitment to his duties on board. He was promoted to Chief Engineer in 2011, and has since been one of the fleet’s most committed leaders on board.

Motor Man Lee Loreto joined Odfjell in December 1996 as a Wiper on board Bow Sea Old. This cooperative seafarer also served on board Bow Saphir, NCC Mekka and NCC Jouf, and recently, Bow Triumph and Bow Saga.

Fitter Ronelito Medina joined Odfjell as a Fitter on board Bow Sun Old in July 1996. He also boarded Bow Eagle, Bow Saphir and Bow Century, where he displayed admirable dedication and dependability. He recently served Bow Capricorn and Bow Olympus.
