In 2017, Odfjell entered into a commercial pool agreement with Sinochem Shipping for eight 40,000 dwt vessels. Of the eight sister ships, four are on long-term bareboat charter to Odfjell Tankers and managed by Odfjell Ship Management.
The 2017-built Bow Gemini has 30 stainless steel tanks, and as all the vessels in Chempool 40 she is capable of handling a wide variety of our customers’ specialty products – with proven energy efficiency.
When the agreement was announced last year, CEO Zhang Xin of Sinochem Shipping said:
